Our daughter was born in the dog days of summer. As we adjusted to a wonderful, settled way of life, I found myself back in the studio. Sometimes that meant dancing with a baby at 2am, and sometimes it meant quiet hours hiding from the summer heat. These paintings are the fruit of that time.
Originally started as an exploration of color relationships, these turned into an expression of summer delights, food from the garden, and the dawn of a new season. I hope they'll bring light and life to your home as well.
